The International Organization for Standardization has formulated a standard specifying requirements for Quality Management Systems (QMS). The Standard, ISO 9001: 2008 Quality management systems specifies requirements that ensures that companies deliver quality products (goods and/or services) consistently and enables companies to become competitive by solving typical problems facing typical organizations.
Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) is organizing training on ISO 9001:2008 QMS implementation. The training covers methods that should be applied when implementing Quality Management Systems.
The objective of the training is to enable participants to understand the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and be able to implement the standard in their organizations.
The target audience is Quality Managers, Management Representatives, SHEQ Managers and Managers in organizations intending to implement or already implementing ISO 9001:2008.
Dates: 12 -16 August, 2013
Venue: Impala Hotel; located along Old Moshi and Simeoni Road in Arusha.
The seminar shall be conducted in the form of lectures, case studies, group discussions, exercises and forum discussions.
Fees: TZS 1,500,000/= per participant
Fee shall cover lecture materials, lunch, tea, drinks. Participants coming from outside Arusha shall pay for their travelling costs, upkeep and accommodation.
