Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS)

Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) wishes to inform importers, clearing and forwarding agents and the general public that, with effect from 2026-06-26, all used motor vehicle spare parts, used bicycles, used mobile machinery and used trailers from the United Kingdom intended for importation into Tanzania shall be required to undergo inspection while still in the country of export (i.e., United Kingdom).
