EXISTENCE OF THE TT DESK SERVICE

The Type Testing Desk (TT Desk) is an established service coordination point within TBS for voluntary product testing. The Desk coordinates customer requests and facilitates communication between customers and the relevant TBS laboratories. The existing TT Desk process requires customers to provide information such as their name and address, email address, telephone number, TIN, type of sample and quantity of samples required for testing. Its responsibilities include:

• Receiving customer requests for Type Testing through iSQMT system

• Guiding customers on applicable testing requirements
• Receiving and reviewing applications
• Obtaining information on the products and tests required
• Preparing testing cost quotations/payment advice (Control number) for payments
• Facilitating payment processes
• Receiving and registering submitted samples after payment
• Register samples on the system to the relevant laboratories
• Following up the testing process
• Facilitating the issuance of test reports
